New York City native Bobbito García (born 1966) is a writer, DJ, photographer, filmmaker and basketball player. Often credited as the first sneaker journalist, García penned his landmark Source article "Confessions of a Sneaker Addict" in 1990 and has been documenting the culture ever since.
