I first learned about Rob Hernandez' clothing brand B-ball Junkies while DJing a party in Los Angeles about 20 years ago. He offered me a promo, and I put the tee on immediately so the crowd could see me rocking it the rest of the night on stage! Rob and I became instant buddies, and have since collaborated multiple times over the years on various designs.
I came up with the statement, "I am a B-ball Junkie Foreva," because I really feel that way about Rob, his brand, and most importantly, the sport. I illustrated the saying by hand, then Rob added some touches and chose the colors (inspired by NBA champs the NY Knicks, even though he's a Lakers fan, ha ha).
