Kevin Couliau celebrates the aesthetic of grassroots basketball culture through his independent publishing house, Asphalt Chronicles. In 2022, he produced his first book, Blacktop Memento: Fragments of Erosion, which features a collection of 76 playground close-ups collected globally, each telling a story about the game's imprint on these sacred territories.
